WHY DO WE WORSHIP GOD?
"Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve."
"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker."
"For all nations shall come and worship before Thee."
HOW SHOULD WE WORSHIP GOD?
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth."
"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh."
WHY DO WE HAVE AUDIBLE PRAISE UNTO GOD?
"I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."
"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name."
"By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name."
WHY DO WE STAND TO SING?
"And the levites... stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high."

"After this I behold, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindredsm and people, and tongues, stood before the throne and the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb."
WHY DO WE CLAP OUR HANDS?
"O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a voice of triumph."
WHY DO WE DANCE BEFORE THE LORD?
"Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and His praise in the congregation of the saints. Let Isreal rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp."
WHY ARE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS A PART OF THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
"Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltry and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance.Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Priase Him upon the loud cymbals. Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals."
WHY DO WE SING IN TONGUES AND IN ENGLISH?
"For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also."

WHY DO WE PROPHESY?
"But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort."

"Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy."

WHY DO WE HAVE SPEAKING IN UNKNOWN TONGUES AND THE INTERPRETATION IN THE CHURCH?
"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying."

"If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course: and let one interpret."

WHY DO WE PRAY WITH LAYING ON OF HANDS AND ANOINTING WITH OIL?
"They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."
WHY DOES THE WHOLE CHURCH PRAY AT ONCE FOR SPECIFIC NEEDS?
"And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, Thou art God which hast made heaven and earth..."
WHY DO WE RECEIVE TITHES AND OFFERINGS?
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."
"Every man shall give as he is able, acording to the blessing of the Lord thy God which He hath given thee."
